INJEJE DEMANDS THAT SIHLE ZIKALALA BE ARRESTED & CHARGED IMMEDIATELY
The INJEJE Native Council after having received numerous calls and information from its members and allys, has now deemed it necessary to demand that the Directorate of Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) must arrest and charge the balatantly corrupt Premier Sihle Zikalala. We do not share the view that merely because he cooperatied with the Hawks in their investigation on Zandile Gumede and was instrumental in her arrest absolves him from his own corrupt and criminal activities.
Based on the information and evidence in our possession which we are cognisant is also in the possession of the Hawks, Sihle Zikalala should have long been charged with various counts of fraud, money laundering and the contravention of the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act 12 of 2004 and got his day in court. There is absolutely no basis in which his involvement in the Zandile Gumede matter should influence his own prosecution as he demonstrated his charmeleon character when he attempted to get her into the provincial legislature whilst she is still attending a court matter and it is evident that the attempt was intended on pacifying Zandile Gumede whom he betrayed. All this has absolutely nothing to do with the province nor the people of the province which he has turned into his personal playground to fraudently empower those who enjoy his proximity. He has perforced himself throughout all provincial departments attempting to micromanage projects so as to direct such to certain folk, undermining officials, heads of departments and members of the executive council at the gross expense of service delivery and competence. This he has done in the Department of Education, COGTA and the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs.
The province of KZN is a province of great bloodshed and unmatched heriosm, we are the native descendants of those who fought battles and wars so that we as their descandants today can reside in a land full of opportunity, creativity and commerce. Under no circumstances did they die for Zikalala to turn it into his own piggy bank where he forces departments and their officials to empower criminals masquerading as business people at the expense of organic native entrepreneurs. We call on the Directorate of Priority Crime Investigations to conclude its work swiftly and proceed with charges, furthermore, a special focus must be placed on a corrupt Ms. Nonhlanhla Myeni who is the director of the Bulk Buying program under the KZN EDTEA department. The Bulk Buying program has seen millions of tax payers money being spent with immeasurable corruption between Ms. Nonhlanhla Myeni, officials in the Office of the Premier including the Premier himself who launched the Bulk Buying program and a handful of individuals that masquerade as business people. Our own private investigations revealed an incedible web of corrupt, fraudulent and money laundering activities under the Bulk Buying program that has been administered by Ms. Nonhlanhla Myeni. We are also cognisant that this too, the DPCI is fully aware of and is part of their investigations however the continued delay is a travesty of justice as we are of the view that the information and evidence currently in possession of the hawks is enough for a successful prosecution of both Zikalala, officials in the Office of the Premier, Ms. Nonhlanhla Myeni and certain individuals.
We can no longer remain silent when criminals run amok and make a mockery of our province and its people. The native entrepreneur and professional is today viewed as incompetent, corrupt and without dignity because of individuals such these and now the time has come for people of this province to reclaim the region from criminals. Our message to President Cyril Ramaphosa and the National Minister of Police Bheki Cele is that we as the natives of this province will no longer sit back and allow this criminal Premier and ilk to continue raping our province unabated, we demand that this matter takes priority and Zikalala and crime crew must get their day in court. If this is ignored, then the President must know that we shall make this province ungovernable, the national government will loose legitimacy in this province and it will descend into violence and bloodshed. This violence will not be a civil war but will witness corrupt government officials being killed in their numbers for their complete betrayal of the province and its people. We will by no means allow our region to become the capital of corruption. We have called on the native alliances to gather which includes those who are incorrectly referred to as coloureds as the time for war with the provincial government is clearly upon us.
We shall kill corruption by all means necessary as it has eaten away at the futures of many young natives in the region and this can no longer be accepted.
Arrest this criminal, or we will!
