*Pravin Gordhan: The Poison That Is Destroying South Africa, and the ANC*
Celebrating its 108th years, the ANC has to reflect on the direction the party is taking. Part of that reflection is getting rid of the lethal poison that will destroy it from the inside - and that is Pravin Gordhan.
In 1990, ANC President OR Tambo did a report on the Commission of the cabal, which remains correct about Gordhan to this day.
The opening of the report stated that, "the problems of disunity within the ranks of the MDM due to the manipulating role of certain Indians and Whites regarded as leaders in the struggle, has reached a level of such seriousness that it is clear that we need to address it immediately and decisively."
A list of toxic members of the cabal "sowing disunity and manipulating role within the ranks of the MDM" formed part of the report, and Pravin Gordhan topped that list.
Thirty years later, OR Tambo's report remains telling.
Since then, Pravin has transformed into a "super God" status. He has amassed superpowers bigger than the whole ANC, the President, government, and the judiciary combined.
His superpowers continue to be seen at play daily.
Pravin Gordhan formed the rogue unit at SARS, an illegal spying unit he used to deal with his political and corporate opponents. More than three reports have confirmed its existence and its criminal nature, but Pravin remains standing.
Sunday Times, a paper that broke the Rogue Unit story, mysteriously retracted its stories about the rogue unit - apologising to Gordhan. That retraction was not only a lie, but the beginning of a huge PR campaign to clean up Gordhan.
When former President Zuma wanted to get rid of Gordhan, the rand used to get hysterical, and "fall". The Competition Commission exposed the manipulation of the rand by the banks to pro-up the Gordhan is the God of rand narrative.
Pravin has never been seen at any door to door, or openly campaigning for the ANC, but he remains untouchable at the top, enjoying a God-like status.
He has presided over the worst failures and the collapse of the SOE's. Today South Africa remains in the dark due to load-shedding, but no one in the ANC is bold enough to point those failures to Gordhan.
Everyone tip-toes around Gordhan, they even blame the rain for load-shedding, fearing to upset the incompetent Minister.
Since coming to power, he has mowed down dozens of competent black executives - replacing them with his stooges and yes men.
In spite of all the praises heaped on him, and the public relations behind him - there is no single person who can mention one thing that Pravin has ever done, which is good, or "exceptionally good".
Pravin is a poison that is destroying South Africa from inside. The SOE problems can only be solved if Pravin is removed.
Load shedding, costing South Africa billions in financial losses can only be resolved if this "super God" of incompetent Minister is gotten rid of!
