“Leaderless South Africa faces challenges

2 July 2021

Since the Acting Deputy Chief Justice Sisi Kampepe issued the warrant of arrest on Tuesday, 29 June 2021 subject to the guilty verdict for the contempt of court charge against the former state president, Jacob Zuma, the latter has until Monday, 5 July 2021 to hand himself for the start of his sentence.

Subsequently, on 30 June 2021, Acting Deputy Chief Justice followed with a command that is addressed to the Head of the Westville Correctional Centre, Kwa- Zulu Natal, in “order to receive him into custody and deal with him in accordance with the laws relating to prisoners.”

Clearly, the tide cannot be turned, hence the revolt of most South Africans that support Jacob Zuma, generally, as their leader, including, but not limited to, the members of the African National Congress (ANC) as well as the MKMVA, which made it proper that their defence against his impending incarceration is a miscarriage of justice. The potential for incineration of our country unfolds before everyone.

The ANC National Executive Committee (NEC), which has the responsibility to lead our country, is obviously flat-footed, without any action to avert a probable internecine of ordinary South Africans on the account of the skirmishes that may happen between the supporters of Jacob Zuma and state armed machinery, which includes the South African Police Service (SAPS) and military personnel respectively.

It is not any surprise that the ANC NEC remains clueless about proper leadership to promote the stability and peace that all South Africans desire and deserve. With its dismal inability to provide guidance in relation to the volatile situation that engulfs our country, it highlights its incompetence to achieve any reasonable success on any matter, since its election at the 2017 ANC elective conference at NASREC, but only emphasise its hopelessness and directionless, hence our country blisters.

While we all know that the ANC 2017 elective national conference passed many resolutions that must become the preoccupation of the present ANC NEC for implementation, within the tenure of its office, this august body of this organisation shows total dysfunctions to convert such resolutions to tangible results for the benefit of all South Africans, as the self- claimed leader of society with a bias for the economic empowerment of blacks, in particular, and everyone generally.

No government can justly claim authority unless it is based on the will, not just handful capitalists, but of all the people of the country. Nationalisation of the land is an ANC resolution, as the nationalisation of the Reserve Bank fall within the same ambit of the ANC NEC’s task for the economic transformation of South Africa. In stark contrast, this ANC NEC chooses to impede and oppose such critical assignments, including the radical socio-economic transformation of the country.

Its selective application of its national conference resolutions hampers its mandate, because it demonstrates only its energetic ability to implement only the step-aside resolution, in order to purge the

contestants that were part of the faction that lost in the 2017 ANC conference, with the rampant purges and arrests of such leaders.

The working class, should not: ‘...allow the leadership of the revolution to be assumed by the bourgeoisie, but on the contrary, to take a most energetic part in it, to fight most resolutely... for the revolution to be carried to its conclusion’. In the current ANC NEC, however, the leadership of the ANC is wholly assumed by white monopoly capital, especially Cyril Ramaphosa whose historical nearness and favour for the elite remains bare.

The plain directionless of the ANC NEC punctuates its incapability to lead successfully, hence it is time for it to resign en mass. For a competent ANC NEC to assume leadership, a Special National Conference must be convened sooner rather than later. As leader of the Alliance, the ANC is duty-bound to engage with the underlying subjective concerns as well as the objective basis of these resolutions. Rather than a knee-jerk rejection, the ANC should seek to build a comprehensive response which builds the unity of all South Africans and advances the goals of a better life for all, which proves evasive for the recent ANC NEC,

which must either remove itself, or face the indignity for its deletion.

“Everyone with power knows you need to watch your back.…They' are always coming for you,”…This goes doubly for Jacob Zuma. For decades,he has woken up every day knowing 'Today could

be the day they finally get me'. And every night he's gone to bed realizing he has frustrated his many enemies a little longer. He is not called the ultimate survivor for nothing, Gayton Mckenzie amplified this reality with regards to Jacob Zuma in “Kill Zuma By Any Means Necessar…”

In parliament, Terror Lekota, the leader of the ever shrinking Congress of the People (COPE), which emerged after the national elective in Polokwane conference that catapulted President Jacob Zuma into the presidency of the ANC, and ultimately State President, made it clear that Cyril Ramaphosa was an Apartheid spy, who sold them (Indigenous AFRIKA people and the Liberation Struggle) leading to their incarceration in Robben Island in the trenches of the national liberation struggle. The CAPTURED ANC NEC never bothered to investigate such plight against its leader Instead the WMC-Captured Courts have worked tirelessly to shield Cyril Ramaphosa’s bank statements from the seismic 54th ANC NASREC conference in 2017 that is an unprincipled and UNCONSTITUTIONAL conduct to use money to buy conference delegates. Such afflictions and gross violations of the ANC’s CONSTITUTION remain buried and a hot potat, which confirms that the deceitful current ANC NEC is awful, Unconstitutionall, illegitimate, Fraudulent & a Fraud in itself and cannot be trusted To lead the ANC, Liberation and the Country anymore than the deep s.it they have already caused and cost the Nation.

It is from this angle and perspective that South Africans and citizens from all walks of life all demand and DECLARE that:

1.The whole current ANC NEC must resign on, or before, 5 July 2021.

2.A Special ANC National Elective conference must be convened sooner, rather than later.

3. People’s power must prevail.

THE PEOPLE MUST GOVERN
